Embed Code
Copy and paste this code into your website’s HTML where you want the lookup tool to appear:
<div id="wdaii-embed"></div>
<script src="https://whatdistrictamiin.com/?wdaii_embed=js"></script>
<!-- Powered by WhatDistrictAmIIn.com -->
The widget is lightweight (under 5KB), mobile-responsive, and loads asynchronously so it won’t slow down your page. It works on any website that supports HTML embeds including WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, and custom-built sites.
Alternative: Simple Link
If you prefer a simple link instead of an embedded widget, you can direct your visitors to our lookup tool:
<a href="https://whatdistrictamiin.com">Find Your Congressional District</a>
Who Uses This
Our embeddable tool is designed for civic organizations, voter registration drives, local news outlets, educational institutions, government websites, and anyone who wants to help their visitors find their congressional representation.

What the widget returns
A visitor types a ZIP code and the widget returns the congressional district that ZIP falls in, along with the member who currently holds the seat. It reads the same roster the district pages on this site use, so a change to a seat shows up in the widget without anything being republished on your end.
ZIP codes that cross district lines
A ZIP code is a mail delivery route, not a political boundary, and plenty of them straddle two or more districts. When that happens the widget returns every district the ZIP touches rather than guessing one. ZIP 90210 covers 3 districts, and the widget lists all 3 so the visitor can pick the right one from the place names shown.
Terms of use
The widget is free and needs no account, no API key and no sign-up. The attribution line in the snippet is part of the terms: keep it visible. There is no tracking pixel in the embed and no cookie is set on your visitors by it. If you need something the widget does not do, use the address on the contact page.
