What is on each state page
Every state page lists the current representative for each district in that state, with party, the seat number and a link to the district page. It carries the party balance of the state’s House delegation, the two senators, the ZIP codes and cities that fall inside each district, and the 2026 election dates that apply there.
How the 435 seats are split
The 435 House seats are divided among the 50 states by population, recounted after each decennial census. California has the largest delegation at 52 seats, then Texas with 38, Florida with 28 and New York with 26. Six states have a single at-large seat that covers the whole state: Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming. Another 7 states have exactly 2 seats. The District of Columbia and the five inhabited territories elect delegates instead, who sit on committees and vote there but not on the House floor.
